MILIND PRAJAPTI

With a passion for engineering and vast experience working in and around the residential construction industry, Milind is an integral part of BCT Group as a project engineer.

​At University, Milind obtained a Masters in Professional Engineering and a Masters in Construction Management and has spent time working and developing his skills with an array of different residential building companies including custom and volume home builders before arriving at BCT Group.

​As a project engineer, Milind is involved in the initial site visits where he surveys the existing conditions including soil, topography and structure to inform the design team on constructability and cost effectiveness. He is also heavily immersed in the preparation and presentations of construction budgets where he goes to tender and liaises with the BCT Group trusted supplier and trade network.

Milind uses his technical knowledge to analyse geotechnical reports and structural plans to optimise designs for cost effectiveness. He prides himself on his attention to detail and uses his experience and knowledge of different homes and the latest advancements in civil engineering and construction techniques to provide effective suggestions to clients when finalising their selections, materials and construction budget.

Milind enjoys the Project Proposal Presentation and the subsequent discussions where he works with clients to ensure that designs meet their budget requirements.

Out of the office, Milind enjoys travelling and going on hikes. He plays cricket, locally at Footscray Angliss Cricket Club.
