Construction of renovation, extension with warm timber features throughout.
After completing their design and documentation with DOOD Studio, Daniel and Leanne approached BCT Group to bring their dream home to life. Their goal was to create a forever home that would adapt to their evolving lifestyle.
Our Construction Team got to work, starting with a complete transformation of the existing layout. The former front living room was converted into a luxurious new master suite. The original centrally located kitchen made way for a new main bathroom, separate toilet, and ensuite—integrated into the main suite for added convenience and flow.
A standout feature of the project is the stunning new rear extension. Built to maximise natural light, our team constructed a light court that floods the open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area with sunshine. One of the most striking elements is the curved timber batten wall that runs through the extension—concealing a brand-new laundry built discreetly behind it.
To further tailor the home to Daniel and Leanne’s needs, we also added a new garage to provide additional parking and reduce reliance on street parking.
The home is beautifully finished with warm timber accents throughout. The custom kitchen joinery pairs perfectly with the stainless-steel benchtop and tiled splashback. In the bathroom, a Japanese-inspired red cedar bath serves as a show-stopping feature.
It was a pleasure to help Daniel and Leanne turn their renovation and extension vision into a reality—and build a home they’ll enjoy for years to come.
