Contemporary renovation and extension project with traditional elements

Catherine & Sam engaged BCT Group to complete a renovation and extension on their family home.

A key focus of the project brief was to improve the homes orientation and layout as well as to maximise the northern light.

The final design included the relocation of existing wet areas, a new bathroom and a new hybrid space to act as either a bedroom or playroom.

The addition of an open plan kitchen and living area with large north facing stacker doors as well as the highlight windows in the tall raked ceiling captured the northern light.

The kitchens charcoal grey and white joinery featured a traditional shaker style profile which matched the homes contemporary style with traditional elements.

Catherine and Sam were wonderful to deal with and trusted BCT Groups ideas and input to help create the final design.
