Extension and renovation for better flow, natural light, storage, and outdoor connection.
Nathan and Jessica wanted to extend and renovate their townhouse in Kingsville. They chose our trustworthy one-stop design and construction service to create a home to better meet the changing needs of their family as their children grow older and require more space.
Because the home was subject to a heritage overlay, our Design Team collaborated closely with Nathan and Jessica to update and rejuvenate the space while preserving its original character including maintaining the front facade and its distinctive stained glass.
The kitchen was transformed into an open-plan layout, featuring a striking French navy island that added both function and personality to the space. A skylight was incorporated flooding the kitchen area with beautiful natural light, enhancing the sense of openness and warmth.
A new master bedroom with a private ensuite, along with a separate powder room for added convenience was added to better accommodate their family's changing needs.
The renovation has made a real difference, and it was a pleasure working with Nathan and Jessica throughout the process. We're glad to see them enjoying a home that better fits their family's needs.
