Custom home renovation in Seddon

This Seddon project is  the opposite of a ‘cookie cutter’ renovation. Great design, exceptional finishes and a quality build have transformed this family home into a bespoke, modern sanctuary.

Our clients engaged Habitable Places to design a home that was more open-plan and family-friendly. We then moved in to make it happen. We turned the existing lounge into a third bedroom and the existing central kitchen was demolished to improve the flow of the floorplan. A stunning new kitchen was built at the back of the home easily accessed by a much larger open-plan living and meals area with custom joinery.

The home also got not one, but two blackbutt decks leading off the side and back of the house – perfect for indoor/outdoor living.

The new family bathroom features Concrete Terrazzo tiles from Signorino Tile Gallery as well as a one of the many standout features – a freestanding Hampton Stone Bath by Fienza

Other features that add real ‘wow’ factor are the Acoustic Plywood Ceiling Lining System in the kitchen area, the Essastone Engineered Stone benchtop in the kitchen and the American Oak Engineered flooring from Royal Oak Floors

This home has an understated modern elegance that perfectly reflects our client’s taste and lifestyle. Every fixture and fitting contributes to the overall look and functionality of a home that will be enjoyed as the family evolves.
