JASON SMITH

With over 20 years of experience in the building industry, Jason brings a broad and deeply practical skill set to his role as Project Manager at BCT Group. He manages multiple projects from demolition through to completion, ensuring each build is delivered to a high standard of quality and craftsmanship.
Jason’s career spans a wide range of project types including medium-density developments, new builds, and insurance repair work. He has also successfully owned and operated his own renovation business for more than ten years, giving him valuable firsthand experience across all aspects of residential construction and project delivery.

To complement his extensive industry experience, Jason holds a Queensland Builder’s Licence along with Certificate III and IV qualifications in Building and Construction. His strong technical knowledge and hands-on background allow him to confidently lead complex builds and provide practical solutions throughout the construction process.

Although relatively new to BCT Group, having joined seven weeks ago, Jason has quickly embraced the variety of projects the company delivers. He particularly enjoys working across designs with differing construction requirements and is passionate about renovations and the build process as a whole.
Jason strives to consistently build to a high standard and deliver quality outcomes that meet both client expectations and BCT Group’s benchmarks. His attention to detail and depth of experience ensure every project is approached with professionalism and care.

Originally growing up on the Gold Coast, Jason now lives in Altona North and has established strong ties to Melbourne’s Inner West.

Outside of work, Jason’s greatest joy is being a father to his one-year-old daughter, a role he values above all else.
