A significant number of BCT Group staff have high level security clearances and operate across numerous data-sensitive projects.

People

Over a number of years, BCT Group has developed a significant capability in the Knowledge Discovery arena.

Specifically, BCT Group has:

  • A key Business Intelligence Team Leader appointment to the largest software development project in Australia – the ATO Change Program
  • Implementation of large-scale Enterprise Search, Entity Extraction and Identity management solutions to Defence, Security and Intelligence agencies

Through our relationship with our parent company UXC, BCT Group is able to bring a depth of resources and expertise to our clients. UXC has offices in all capital cities, including Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide and a staff of over 1,800 across Australia and New Zealand.

The BCT Group is headquartered and based in Canberra, which allows us to deal directly with our key Federal and ACT Headquartered customers.

Efab has recently been awarded the title of Cognos Enterprise Planning Partner of the Year 2006, their third consecutive award.

Netezza – a terabyte level Data Warehousing Appliance, which combines Database + Server + Storage in one system. It has 10-50 times the performance of traditional data warehouse systems at half the cost

Convera – an enterprise search and retrieval solution. RetrievalWare software may legitimately claim that it is the standard Mission Critical search and knowledge discovery infrastructure in the world wide intelligence community. RetrievalWare is a proven and reliable solution in 100’s of mission critical Government and Commercial sites around the world, including:

  • 140 Intelligence, Defence and Law Enforcement Agencies
  • United Airlines, Xerox, MasterCard International, Johnson & Johnson, ABC News, General Electric Ford Motor Company

Initiate Identity Hub – a customer data integration solution, Initiate provides software and services to create a trusted system of record enterprise-wide (CDI). It enables the accurate matching and linking of records across disparate systems and is scalable with large numbers of records and sources.

Inxight – Entity Extraction and Visualisation Tool. Inxight’s “Thingfinder” extracts structured data from a wide variety of unstructured data sources.

Visual Analytics – the Visual Analytics suite of software is a platform-independent, graphical analysis tool used to discover patterns, trends, associations and hidden networks in any number and type of data sources. VisuaLinks presents data graphically uncovering underlying relationships and patterns.
